Skuff-Creep Bootleg-Deep Covers LP by skuff
This is brand new from Skuffs new Deep covers project!
Its been a while for fans of Skuffs solo material and i know theres much more to come. so heres a taste of whats in store!
theres also his cover of Gas drawls by MF Doom on the soundcloud page.
dont forget about skuffs bandcamp, which has the skuff and inja show lp featuring Bioviolences massive remix of “hat low”!!!
I have been well slack keeping the site updated, but theres a few good things happening you should know about.
first off is a compilation by Prophetic poetic, a Canada based label which Delegates MC Ill seer is a big part off.
All artists involved represent a more uplifting vibe than a lot of typical Hip Hop, and this Comp is a seriously dope example of what their about.
If your a Delegates fan then check the Ill Seer tune “nectar” sick beat that reminds me of old headcleaners style. but my tune is by Die-Rek, “purpose” is a sick tune with heavy delivery.
anyway its free which should be the convincer!
By now everyone should be well aware of how live a Skuff & Inja live show with Bioviolence on the decks is!!!
But in case you have been sleeping in your own little bubble, heres a short clip to show how Delegates MCs are still Killing stages all over the country and abroad at some of the livest and best known venues!
Skuff & Injas long awaited album is available here:
Resurrection at Cambs Fez Club is a celebration of hip hop from ’83 all the way through to ’03,
Cambridge’s own DJ Crumps has been putting this night on for a while now and always brings in DJs who know their classics.
April saw Crumps, Chris Groove, long time veteran of the Cambridge scene Marshy and the Mixtape King himself DJ MK!
And me, Sclass!
Below you will find my set from that night, in my opinion my levels are a bit up & down and the blends could be sharper, but I’ve got some classic tunes in there, so get downloading!
Everyone whos likely to read this will need no intro to Inja!! he lends his versatile flows to a fresh beat by Jabbathakut, assisted by the always more than reliable mr Thing on the cuts.
Ive heard the vocal version a couple of times round Injas, so already liked it but im really feeling the finished version with Thing.
Jabbathakut has been slowly leaking out tunes for his forthcoming “Once upon a crossfade” album and its looking heavy! definitly something im keeping an eye out for.
This Month sees the return of Uk heavyweights Foreign Beggars at Cambs Fez for the next installment of Soundclash.
You can expect big bass and ridiculous flows!
Holding things down on the ones & twos will be me(Sclass), Bioviolence, and if the bouncers will give him a break, Bee 109!
see you there.
Jimmy Danger is a name that will be familiar to many Cambridge heads and those in the drum and Bass scene.
But for those who dont know, He is the bossman of Audio Danger Records, a new label thats gaining a lot of momentum at the moment, with its first release “twilight” by BMK doing well and two of its forthcoming releases getting airplay from Grooverider on radio 1, one of which (the B-Side of its next release), won battle of the rewinds on radio 1!
Jimmy is also a talented MC on any Tempo, being a regular MC at many Drum & Bass raves, he is equally at home on a dope hip hop beat!
This promo mix of three tunes of Jimmy Danger on Bioviolence hiphop beats showcases a sample of his lyrical styles and well worth a listen in preperation for his forthcoming E.P.
You can also catch Jimmy Danger and many other Cambridge Mcs on Sclass’ Solo album due later in the year.
Enjoy
also, heres the link to AudioDangers website where you can find out more and hear the Dope Intro tune as you enter the website!!
you’ll have to copy and paste it tho cos im still getting to grips with this blogging thing!
Available now on Bandcamp is our 2004 Mixtape.
